Walk

Welcome to our meditation... Let's start with a deep breath. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Clear your thoughts. Let's imagine for a moment we are walking along a trail. As we make our way through the trees, rocks and dirt we are met with bright green leaves on the plants and trees and a deep blue sky peaking down at us through the tree tops. As one foot surpasses the next, we filter through our minds, fading in and out of various thoughts and ideas. After walking for some hours, you feel the rhythm in your feet and in your breath. You feel more limber and your thinking has slowed. Your mind and body now flow at the same pace. You feel yourself gliding along the trail, enjoying the quiet beauty all around you. Your mind is free and clear. Refreshed. Our bodies natural rhythms guide us to a meditative state. Through moments such as this we can't help but think we were born to meditate. Let us use this tool we have been blessed with to discover our unique selves and the world around us.
