Welcome to our meditation... Take a deep breath. Stretch your arms. Stretch your legs. Roll your shoulders. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Imagine you are standing next to a beautiful tree. The tree is filled with leaves. On each leaf is something you did during your lifetime. You have been granted a wish. You think for a moment and then you decide to wish away all the things you regret in your life. The leaves on your tree begin to fall one by one. You feel relieved at first to see all those things you regretted falling away from your memory, but then you notice something else. Things you truly cherished began to fall away as well. What happened? By wishing away the things we regret, we end up losing so much more. We also lose the beautiful moments in which we were given a another chance. Those mistakes we make along the way lead us to becoming better people. Stronger. Wiser. Sure there are times we wish we could have done more, or did things differently, but we made our decisions the best we could and now we must learn to forgive ourselves and move on. We have no control over the past or the future so don't waste precious time wishing for those to change. We need to focus on what we can do right now. On what we have right now. Love yourself today. Forgive yourself today. Love the life you have today. Tell your loved ones how much you love them today. It is the most important day of your life. This meditation is dedicated to the following: Karen H: "I would love to have a meditation dedicated to my late father, Gilly W., who lived to his dying day with regrets. Self-forgiveness would be what I would like to send him. Namaste!" Geri D, "to my wonderful husband, Mike D." Send your dedications to:
