Perseverence

Welcome to our meditation... Take a deep breath. Do some light stretching. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Let us focus for a moment on the tall and mighty Redwood tree or, Sequoia. Record Redwood trees have been measured to be over 300 ft in height and 150 ft in diameter. The oldest known Giant Sequoia is over 3,500 years old. The bark of the Redwood is strong and fibrous and acts as a fire repellent. The Redwood Tree is a wonderful example of perseverance. It's combination of many strengths are the sole reason it is able to survive for so long. Let us take a moment to focus on our own strengths. We have strength in our muscles. We have strength in our minds. We have strength in our hearts. We have strength we gather from our family and friends. We are so fortunate to have so many stepping stones to get to where we need to be in life. By nurturing our strengths we form the ability to persevere. Let your strengths shine through perseverance.
