Om

Welcome to our meditation... Reach your arms up. Breathe. Stretch your legs out in front of you. Take another deep breath. Align your posture. Rest your hands comfortably in your lap. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Take a deep breath in through your nose and as you exhale out your mouth, say, Om. Here the tone of your voice ring through the air. Feel the vibration travel through your body. Repeat it again. Om. Allow it to fill the room. This is your voice. The song of your Soul. Feel your mind and body become One through the Om. Feel the balance in your breathing. From chaos order is formed. Feel the balance in your mind and in your body. You are in tune with the Universe. Om is made up of three Sanskrit letters, aa, au and ma which, when combined together, make the sound Aum or Om. It is a musical intonation known around the world that signifys the Absolute, otherwise known as Brahman in Hindu belief. Brahman is seen as the nature of truth, knowledge and infinity that transcends all limitations in the Universe. It is the life force that resonates through our breath.
