Motion


Welcome to our meditation... Take a deep breath. Stretch your arms. Stretch your legs. Roll your shoulders. Relax your mind. Relax your body. Imagine you are standing high up on a cliff. You can see a large, green valley stretching below. There are waterfalls pouring from the sides of the cliffs and a brimming river that winds its way out to the ocean. A couple large birds are circling in the blue sky. How wonderful it would be to swoop through the valley, and fly out towards the sea. If we only had a plane, a helicopter or maybe a hot air balloon, we could make it. Our minds try to seek out ways to achieve what our hearts desire. Sometimes we think of a way to make it work and sometimes we have to abandon the idea altogether because it would be too difficult. Take a few moments to think of some things that are working well for you now. Try to move on from those things that don't allow for a feasible plan to form. Start an ideas journal and write them down to revisit them later. Free up that energy to focus on new ideas or the ones that are already in motion. It is good for us to dream, but we shouldn't let our dreams get in the way of our happiness. Keep moving forward. As long as we stay in motion new opportunities will arise and grace our path.
