Medicine


Welcome to our meditation... Take a deep relaxing breath. Stretch your arms. Stretch your legs. Align your posture. Clear your mind. Relax your body. Life is full of medicine. Let us focus on the natural healing medicine all around us. We can go for a walk in nature. We can go for a bike ride. Exercising every day increases our immunity. It has been said that people that brave the cold temps get 50% less colds in the winter. Get plenty of rest, exhaustion leads to illness. We can eat fruits and vegetables high in antioxidants that will cleanse our system. We can laugh. We can meditate and think of beautiful, positive thoughts that nourish out soul. We can write and pour our thoughts and emotions out onto paper. We can create with our hands. This is all natural medicine. Let us try to practice preventative health care. Let us all do what we can to not get sick. Try to avoid self-medicating with drugs or alcohol. Self-medication can disturb life's delicate balance. Alcohol is a depressant and lowers our immunity. Even some herbal remedies and teas can be detrimental to our systems. We must be careful with those as well. Always consult a physician before using anything. Life is best lived "as-is." As you were meant to be. Celebrate you as YOU. Revel in the healthy, natural ways we can care for our bodies.
