Letting Go



So often we find ourselves wanting to hold on to things that no longer serve us. Take a moment to focus on replacing the old with the new. Allow your life to unfold. Seek a new adventure. If we spend too long wishing for different results - we allow ourselves to become stagnant. Free yourself. Let go and LIVE. A great ritual for letting go is to find an object in your home that no longer is useful or has become a burden to you in some respect. Sit with this object. Let it be the vehicle for something you would like to let go of mentally. Transfer the feeling and emotions you have onto the object. Allow it to absorb all the worry and negativity you've experienced by this mental burden. Then find someone to either gift it to or donate it. It has been said that when you gift something unto someone - all negativity is cleaned from this object because of the act of giving. So, no, you will not be handing your burdens off to someone else. Let it go, and once it's gone let your inner-self heal and move on as well. This chapter is now closed. It takes time to heal. The only way we can heal is if we allow ourselves to heal. We can do this by bringing in positive experiences to our lives. Seek out new relationships. New places. New passions. Don't live in the past. The past is in your heart forever, it's not going anywhere. Start today and begin anew. Your happiness awaits!
