Welcome to our meditation... Let us take a deep breath. Do some light stretching. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Clear your thoughts. Let us take a moment to think about the last time we laughed. Whether it was a deep belly laugh or a small giggle - how did you feel after wards? Our bodies resonate with the joy that laughter brings. It lifts us to a higher plane. Studies say laughter can relax our muscles for up to 45 minutes after we are through laughing. It decreases stress and increases our immunity. It triggers the release of endorphins, promoting an overall sense of well-being and it can even temporarily relieve pain. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems. Whatever happens today, let us seek the humor in the moment. Let us revel in the magic and medicine of laughter.
