Flowers


Welcome to our meditation... Let us take a deep breath. Close your eyes. Stretch your arms. Stretch your legs. Roll your shoulders. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Clear all your thoughts for another time. Let us focus on our breathing. As we breathe in the freshness of this new day let us think of all the beautiful flowers of Spring that are shortly around the bend. Cherry blossoms, Daffodils, Tulips, Magnolias. Some of us have waited a long time to see the beautiful colors of Spring and the Yellows, Pinks, Purples and Blues gracing our gardens and window boxes. Even the green grass peeking up above the soil can give us a rush of hopefulness for the warm weather to come. Let us imagine for a moment we are walking through a beautiful garden. It is filled with all kinds of flowers. How many can you imagine? Smell the sweetness in the air. Take it all in. Let this beauty embrace you. Let it fill you with Hope and Peace. If you pass by a flower today, stop in. Flowers are medicine. Their lovely scents and colors aid in our happiness.
