Details


Welcome to our meditation... Let's begin by taking a deep breath. Stretch your arms. Stretch your legs. Align your posture. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Today as we take a moment to rest peacefully in our place, let's focus on something within our reach. It can be something we may come in contact with everyday, but don't really take much notice of it. Sit so you can really observe what it is your looking at. Make sure there is plenty of light. As we begin to focus on the finer details, we become more mindful of the purpose behind this object. Eventually we begin to connect with it and allow it time to form an impression on us. We may experience some emotions or revelations. We also may find ourselves becoming more relaxed the more familiar we become with this item. So often due to the patterns in our lives we swiftly pass over people, places and things that can create a positive impact on us. Through Mindfulness Meditations such as this we can be surprised by the things we would least expect to have an impact on us. Today let us practice focusing on the details of the world around us. Take time to stop, look and listen. See what the world around you can teach you today.
