Healing


Welcome to our morning meditation... As you awake this morning let the light of day fill your body with healing energy. Take a deep breath. As you exhale, let out all the toxins in the mind, body and soul. Breath in the positive, loving energy of the universe that is all around us, always. Stand up and repeat. Take a deep breath and exhale. Stretch your arms to the sky, bend from side to side. Stretch your arms out wide and then bring them in, wrapping them around yourself. Breath in deep. Exhale. You just gave yourself a hug! Let today be a day of healing. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables all throughout. Stay clear of heavy foods like breads, cheese and starches, Cleanse your system and rejuvenate your body. There is healing in movement. The ancient martial art of Tai Chi improves strength, balance and flexibility and also has positive effects on chronic health conditions like multiple sclerosis and joint problems. Much more than a means of easing your stress and increasing your flexibility, practicing yoga may protect you from a number of common health problems. This ancient mind-body practice could help you fend off back pain, weight gain, anxiety, depression, and even heart disease. Gather some fresh springs of pine and bring them home. Boil them on the stove for a fresh, free incense to sweeten the home, and the heart.
